This is an amazing claim, and one which will get mocked at first glance, but raises some interesting questions: The easy response to people who are ‘medically unfit’ for the death penalty is : ‘So what? They’re going to die, anyhow.” The issue, however, is how the medical problems impact the injection process, and whether medical treatments interfere with the lethal cocktail. What if the veins of the convict are too damaged to insure the cocktails will be administered correctly? I meant to post this a while ago, but have been a little busy. After the debate, Palin gave an ‘exclusive’ to Fox (I heart Plain) News. In it, Plain attempted to spin her disastrous press interviews by saying that her responses were meant to show an annoyed refusal to answer the questions asked – because she found them insulting and thought they should be talking about the issues. I listened to it on the radio (I was driving to LA) and most of the responses I’ve read is about what I feel: Biden displayed more knowledge, Palin managed to be folksy without making any major gaffes.
