A Russian woman is in intensive care after restoring her virginity for the sixth time, Mos News reports.
The woman only identified as Natalia K., underwent the cosmetic procedure known as hymenoplasty–an operation that causes bleeding during intercourse to simulate of virginity, as an anniversary gift to her husband. Previously, she had five consecutive hymen restorations as an annual present to him.
According to reports, doctors warned Natalia that another procedure could jeopardize her health. Undaunted, she signed waivers and had the surgery done.

Die Spitzenverbände der Ärzte und der Krankenkassen haben sich auf neue Abrechnungs-Modalitäten für HIV-Patienten geeinigt.
Ärzte erhalten nach einer entsprechenden Änderung des EBM zukünftig festgelegte Beträge für die Behandlung von HIV-positiven Patientinnen und Patienten.
Laut Meldung der Ärztezeitung
“wird vom 1. Juli [2009, d.Verf.] an ein neuer Abschnitt 30.10 für Leistungen der spezialisierten Versorgung HIV-infizierter Patienten in den Einheitlichen Bewertungsmaßstab (EBM) aufgenommen. Darunter fällt unter anderem eine Zusatzpauschale für die qualitätsgesicherte Behandlung von HIV-Patienten in Höhe von 45,50 Euro.”
Für antiretroviral behandelte Patienten können zukünftig weitere 30,63€ abgerechnet werden. Für HIOV-assoziierte Erkrankungen oder Ko-Infektionen wurde ebenfalls eine Regelung gefunden.

People have tried many different methods to politely describe my whiteness, and I’ll admit, I’m pretty white. I don’t want skin cancer, I don’t want wrinkles, and I avoid the sun at all costs. I’m a bit of a vampire.
But it does bother me, especially around the summer time. I’ve tried many types of store bought tanners, many of which people rave about, but none of them work on me. Saturday night was the last for the upscale wine bar Taste, as it was for the Italian eatery Gypsy. We’ve now heard from customers who dined during each establishment’s final hours.
At Taste on West Cesar Chavez Street, tables and chairs are stacked; wine bottles have been stripped from the walls.
