I was sitting across the desk from one of the senior bosses, B, who was in charge of one of our service lines for a teleconference. Admittedly, the discussions wasn't going very well. Okay, it was down right boring. Suddenly, B noticed something in front of me. I followed his gaze and found his eyes resting on the pen Sam bought me a few years ago. Before I could do anything, B picked up the pen and read the inscription on it, which said, "To my angel bf". Now I wasn't sure if B knew I was gay. He just ...
I have a thing about signage... I don't know why... but I do...The Mystery of No Phone Call was solved yesterday... H-San emailed me about something else and at the end of the message asked me how the work was going... to which I replied that it wasn't because they'd never called the agency... so later on I got a call from the Ginger Ninja and it turned out that they'd just assumed that because I hadn't turned up I didn't want the job. And this was after they'd been told multiple times that they needed to call ...
this time last year, i was two weeks into a self-imposed blog hiatus that lasted for almost a whole six months. it was a much-needed respite fuelled mainly by an uncontrollable lifestyle and the lack of creative inspirations. how times have changed!it's funny looking back to see that much of what i was concerned about back then were quite simply trifle issues, insignificant in the whole scheme of things, and yet reverberated so potently in the moment. i guess nothing affects so profoundly than what you are so blindly immersed in. perspective can be a much skewed thing.i never ...
Just a plain old "hot model" Random Hotness this week... although I have to say that these shots of Philliphe Tanner do push more than a few of my buttons...Peekaboo shorts, hoodie jacket worn with very little else... and sadly, although I know it's SO five minutes ago, the "photo stripped of all colours but one" thing... Current Mood: ...
Sometimes I just have to laugh at myself.Today is one of those very rare days when I'm completely free. By that, I mean there are no meetings, no appointments, no "official" commitments after work - yep, I'm a free man today. So there I was, sipping my coffee first thing after I got in, reading blogs as you do. Suddenly, a colleague who was all dressed up with a handbag around her shoulder walked in:M: You ready to go?Me: Go where?M: The seminar across the road.Me: You mean, the [boring topic] seminar we have both registered for?M: Yep.Me: Is ...
It seems like Spring is very much on it's way... except that it's still kinda cold, even with the sunshine. But it's starting to look Spring-like, which is good. And I took a brief trip to the Botanical Gardens on Sunday amongst other places and the place is definitely starting to look like Spring.I still haven't heard anything about the job I was supposed to be doing this week... which is just plain old rude I say. And it's not even like if one person got run over by a bus that nobody else knew about the arrangement... so, ...
I have been known to say that if I somehow become filthy rich, I would still be working because I'd get bored otherwise. But the more I think about it, the more I realise I don't really need my job to keep me entertained and busy. There are plenty of things to preoccupy me if I don't need to work, including:1. Finish the three novels I have started - the longest one has 13 chapters to it but I just haven't had time to move them along.2. Do some part time volunteer counselling work for QAHC or some other ...
