The ‘Cash Me Ousside’ Girl’s Reality TV Deal Is Surely a Sign of the Apocalypse
It was September 2016 when Danielle Bregoli, better known as the “Cash me ousside. How bout dah?” girl, appeared on Dr. Phil so that her mother could confront her outrageous behavior. Since that appearance, the 13-year-old seventh-grade dropout has received great notoriety from the web, and as TMZ reports today, she’s signed a deal with a major TV production company. Is this all a prime example of the American dream in action, or is it a surefire sign of the approaching apocalypse? Our vote is ...
Twin Peaks: David Duchovny Is Back as DEA Agent Denise Bryson
David Duchovny will revise his role as transvestite DEA Agent Denise Bryson in David Lynch’s upcoming Twin Peaks revival, Entertainment Weeklyreports.
In the original early ‘90s cult mystery/soap opera/collective hallucination, Duchovny played a character who had a history with protagonist Agent Dale Cooper, played by Kyle MacLachlan. Interestingly, Duchovny’s character wasn’t so much a trans woman as a straight man who simply enjoyed dressing in women’s clothes. “I found that wearing women’s clothes relaxed me,” Denise tells MacLachan’s Agent Cooper in the first of her three-episode arc.
In another scene, Cooper assumes ...

Lady Gaga on Drag Race: ‘Gay Men Helped Me Become a Woman’ (Video)
Lady Gaga visited RuPaul’s Drag Race Untucked post-taping to give the queens some notes and open up about her own love of gay men.
Gaga talked about her connection to the gay community:
I’m not a gay woman. It’s that touchy subject. Can you stand up for people that you’re not necessarily fully part of that community in a way that you can understand what you all go through? But I have always been surrounded by incredibly intelligent, powerful gay men who have lifted me up through lots of ...

Here’s Proof the New Power Rangers are Hot as Hell (Photos)

Angry Conservatives Force School to Dump Book That Will ‘Make You Trans’
Conservative outrage forced North Carolina educators to drop a book about a boy who likes wearing a dress from the curriculum.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools originally chose the book Jacob’s New Dress to be part of the anti-bullying program for first-graders. But after a teacher complained to state lawmakers, conservatives freaked out.
The Charlotte Observerwrites:
“The purpose of our elementary schools is to teach writing, reading and arithmetic, not to encourage boys to wear dresses,” Tami Fitzgerald of the North Carolina Values Coalition said Tuesday. “These lessons found in the Jacob’s ...
Aaron Sorkin Somehow Didn’t Know About Hollywood’s Diversity Issues Until Now
At a visit to the Writers Guild Festival on Saturday, writer/producer Aaron Sorkin learned that — surprise! — Hollywood has some problems with diversity.
During a discussion about diversity, Sorkin asked the audience, “Are you saying that women and minorities have a more difficult time getting their stuff read than white men?” Believe it or not, he was not being sarcastic.
“And you’re also saying that [white men]get to make mediocre movies and can continue on?” Sorkin continued, evidently unaware of the existence of Adam Sandler.
Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, ...
Same-sex domestic violence doesn’t seem like a big problem to many gay men. Statistics are hard to come by; it’s hard to know the scope of the problem. Just like male rape, however, men find themselves being victimized on occasion. For men there can be the additional issue that because we think it can’t happen to us, we have a hard time understanding what has happened -- or we are quick to blame ourselves.
Violence in gay relationships can be physical, sexual, emotional -- or a combination of all three. Emotional abuse is indicated by frequent put-downs, name-calling, humiliation, ...
By Adam Groffman
For the last six months, like many around the world, I’ve been glued to my TV. I’ve obsessively watched cable news, set my browser’s homepage to CNN and downloaded a handful of news apps to my phone. There was even a brief moment when I turned on the breaking news notifications; pop-up alerts on my phone every day.
Overloaded with information, I feel simultaneously more aware and more woke than ever before. The obsession started before the USA election, staying up all night to watch the political debates, to tune in on Twitter. And like so many people, ...
And I love him!I have loved Elmo since childhood, of course. I am the biggest nerd, because I still have a small obsession with Elmo. A couple years ago, my mom bought me a new dancing Elmo doll. I almost killed her, but I secretly love that doll like nothing else. "I just can't quit you, Elmo."Even though I'm just a white boy, I can say that I definitely have some African-American role models who I look up to as great innovaters of society: Maya Angelou, Oprah (even though I called her a bitch), and Martin Luther King, Jr... ...
