A Jan. 24 summit in Los Angeles to strategize about "winning back marriage rights" in California will be only partially open to media -- a decision that has led to the resignation of one member of the organizing committee and to complaints from California gay media figures.
The Equality Summit apparently will bring together some 150 activists to organize and strategize in the wake of the passage of Proposition 8, the Nov. 4 ballot measure with which voters amended the state constitution to re-ban same-sex marriage.

Then, almost daring the comic gods, she’ll repeat: “Let’s bump up the lights,” revealing, in this case, a thousand or more potential comedy-killing clunkers in the house.

Anniversary VacationWanted Can you believe the hubby and I met 12 years ago this month!!!! Golly Gee Willikers!!!! We were friends for a few months and then did the nasty later and so we actually celebrate our anniversary in March. The picture above was taken on I believe our 3rd anniversary while on a Caribbean cruise in Barbados. Ahhhhhh such good times! We were in the South Pacific last year for our 11th anniversary and it was a biggie since we skipped our 10th. We really have been trying to be good and frugal and very sensitive to the/our ...
