I have to give a final congratulations to the Great British Olympic Team who are on their way home with a staggering 19 Gold, 13 Silver and 15 Bronze medals. Yesterday we spent the day in Windsor as we had booked to take a look at Frogmore House. It is a home on the Windsor Estate which is still used by the Royal Family and was where Queen Victoria grew up.Frogmore is only open to the public two days a year so it's best to book ahead for fear of forgetting!Anyway we spent a drizzly morning on the Frogmore estate but to be honest the grounds are so nice we didn't notice the rain.Frogmore is a couple of miles from Windsor Castle so we had a bit of ...
I think, for us, the Pride event wasn't what we were expecting. I'm not sure what we were expecting, in fact, as we've never been to one before. It was alright, certainly some fantastic photo opportunities to be had, and plenty of food available. There was a reasonably good turn out, people had fun. I guess it just wasn't "us".
