One hundred bicyclists ride on the Golden Gate Bridge, above, on Sunday en route from Golden Gate Park to Mill Valley and back - 28 miles - to mark the onset of the AIDS epidemic 28 years ago. Report: Gay/bisexual men still bear brunt of AIDS  »  gay blog
Gay and bisexual men in Massachusetts continue to be the hardest hit by the AIDS epidemic with a significant percentage of new cases appearing among minority men. That’s according to a new report by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health that found while the state has had success battling the disease among injection drug users and heterosexual men and women, it has had less success among gay and bisexual men. Leaders of national AIDS organizations revealed this week their recommendations for moves President-elect Barack Obama and his administration can make during their first 100 days in office to fight HIV/AIDS in America.
