Amazing how interest in this monthly gay skating event has exploded over the past few months. When I first started mentioning it last year only a handful of people showed up. But each month attendance has grown exponentially to where it is today. The French media has been active in the past two days regarding an honour that is to be bestowed upon Filip Nikolic. Filip, who died in September, was very much thought of in the town of Longjumeau where he grew up.  The Mayor of the town, Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, has decided to name a gym after Filip, the connection being how physically active Filip was and how much time he spent practicing sport in Longjumeau.  The gym to bear his name will be at the Charles Rigoulot de Longjumeau.  Filip’s parents have given the town permission ...
