As we’ve shown you before, Randy Thomasson and the Campaign for Children and Families are not likely to go down in history as great thinkers of our generation. I’d go so far as to say that they’re downright loony.

While I disagree, I can’t fault the Census for not tracking civil-unions or Domestic Partnerships. Well, I could fault them, but an argument could be made that they’re not set up to track that information, or some other nonesense.
That said, I’m not sure how they rationalize counting legally-married couples as unmarried, because of DOMA. The census isn’t about giving rights or denying them, they’re about counting crap.
This is amazing. Every time I think the Govt’s ‘gays are icky’ has reached its low, they manage to amuse and frighten me.
