Senator Clinton fighting for something  »  Where's the Outrage?
I’m not sure what Senator Hillary Clinton truly believes. Does she truly believe that she can win the nomination? Or as we have learned in the last several days that she may be fighting on to be in a better position to negotiate her withdrawal. In spite of tales of vast amounts of money flowing in the Clinton camp, she is drowning in debt. She maybe able to put herself into a position in which she could trade getting out of the race with Barack Obama’s camp assuming her multi-million dollar debt. Interesting thought. I wonder if I can do ...

Hillary Clinton's Racism in Her Own Words  »  Godless Liberal Homo
From USA Today 5/8/08 (hat tip to From the Left):"I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," she said in an interview with USA TODAY. As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article "that found how Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me.""There's a pattern emerging here," she said.Yes, and that pattern is sickening. That psycho Republican acts like the only people who work hard are 100% Aryan pure white. You Haven’t Failed Until You Give Up  »  Nathan Exposed
It bums me out that the majority of gay blogs I read have turned on Hillary Clinton in recent months. Polls that were done at the beginning of the year showed an overwhelming majority supported Hillary for President. I even conducted 2 polls of my own on this blog, one of them asking if people had to vote that day, who they would choose, and they chose Hillary. I guess she lost people when she started being so fiercely competitive. I’ll admit, there was even a time when I was thinking about switching over to Barack myself. But the thing that really ...

“For the first time this campaign season, Barack Obama has surpassed Hillary Clinton’s support among superdelegates, according to the ABC News delegate estimate. Sen. Senator Hillary Clinton wrote a letter to rival Barack Obama today pleading with him to count Michigan and Florida. Because, you know, she needs a bit of a boost to win this thing. An unfriendly excerpt: “Your commitment to the voters of these states must be clearly stated and your support for a fair and quick resolution must be clearly demonstrated.” Really, Hillary? On Being a Good Diva  »  The Republic of T.
This is a note to Hillary Clinton’s gay friends. (And she’s talked about you guys, so I know you’re out there.) It may be a bit stereotypical, but as gay men we have a special duty to our female friends, to sit them down from time to time and — gently — tell them the truth for their own good. It may be something as trivial as the wrong dress, or an outdated hairstyle. Or it may be something as serious as the need to get out of an unfortunate entanglement with a boyfriend who should be an -boyfriend. Well, ...

Oh no she di-int.  »  Grace the Spot
Hillary Clinton has officially gone mad. She has now resorted to the “throw darts at the dartboard in a crowded room while blindfolded” tactic, hoping that something - anything - that comes out of her mouth will magically hit the bullseye, thereby giving her a chance to limp across the finish line ahead of Obama. However, throwing sharp objects around the room has some obvious hazards, like injuring bystanders, some of whom are your buddies. And unlike Dick Cheney’s hunting buddy, these buddies are unlikely to be as forgiving. “I have a much broader base to build a winning ...

The writing’s on the wall for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. And Time magazine! The small note reads “Really, we’re pretty sure this time…” ...

Can Hillary Be Bought Out?  »  Queerty
One almost feels bad for Hillary Clinton right now. Scads of strategists, pundits and pals, like former Governor George McGovern, are asking her to step aside; newspapers, blogs and magazines have basically called Barack Obama the nominee; and, basically, everyone’s on her back. While some of us would like such action, we’re pretty sure Clinton’s not so pleased. Nor are her die-hard supporters. But there may be some major incentives for her to leave… Thomas Edsall reports: One of the most inviting is the near certainty that the Obama campaign would agree to pay back the $11.4 million she has loaned ...

Limbaugh comes out for Obama « - Blogs from CNN.com  »  Michael Mahler's Ditherings
Let me see if I have this correctly: Limbaugh pushes his Dittoheads to cross lines and vote for Hillary to keep the Democratic primary going, and now, just when it is clear that Obama will be the Democratic Party nominee, he tries to get us to believe that it was Clinton that he thought was the stronger candidate all along? We are expected to believe that a right wing Republican pushes his lackeys to support the person he thought was the better candidate? Is there anyone stupid enough to fall for this line of crap from Rush? Will someone ...

Where to go from here?  »  Where's the Outrage?
The MSM is now returning to the theme that Hillary Clinton needs to find an exit strategy. My question is why? The math in this race for the Democratic nomination has not really changed in over 8 weeks. Hillary Clinton needed to have large victories since Texas and Ohio. (Do you even remember them?) While 1 out of 2 isn’t bad in Las Vegas, it is bad in this election. Senator Clinton needed 65-35 victories in both states and from then on. She has gotten neither. On the money side of the equation, I found it odd that Senator ...

Clinton Out Of "Math, Money and Momentum"  »  The Mad Professah Lectures
Today the news came out that Hillary Clinton loaned her struggling campaign another $6.4 million in April (despite the fact she has not been paid back for the $5 million she loaned the campaign back in February!) Still, with an average annual income of over $15 million per year, the Clintons can afford to continue their quixotic quest probably until August's Democratic Convention in August. As the Political Editor of the Huffington Post puts, it, Clinton is now out of "math, money and momentum." ...
