This story breaks my heart. Other than the intolerant and discriminatory policies of the hospital, there is no reason why this woman was denied access to her dying partner. I can't imagine what she must have been feeling.G and I have all the necessary paperwork drawn up for an instance like this. However, if we're caught in a gay unfriendly state, we won't have a leg to stand on.
