Dear NPR,I was disappointed to discover that no NPR program covered the November 15th gay rights rallies.Despite the fact that the rallies were completely grass-roots, with no organization or assistance by national or local LGBT organizations, tens of thousands of people turned out in over 300 cities in the US, with some rallies appearing as far away as Australia.These rallies were amazing and inspiring events. Tomorrow, as is my constitutional right, I will be taking part in the Join the Impact protests in solidarity with my LGBT brothers, sisters, and allies.Many anti-gays are very upset by these protests and are calling us "sore losers," "spoiled children," and "homofascists."
