
Yesterday, a Pennsylvania Senate committee voted 18-8 to send Senate Bill 1250, which would place a measure on the ballot banning same-sex marriage, to the full Senate for a vote. The measure must be approved in two consecutive legislative sessions for it to be placed on the ballot.
Following the vote, lawmakers attended a boisterous rally against the ban in the Capitol:

On Wednesday of this week, the full Pennsylvania Senate is expected to vote on a proposed gay marriage ban:

So don't be surprised if you find the toilet paper in the capitol building's bathrooms replaced with pages from the constitution, Penn congressional staffers. After all, sh*tting on the state's most precious governing document does seem to be on the docket this week.
