I really don’t know what to say about this, but I’m going to say it anyway. Does this shirt serve to break stereotypes or perpetuate them about black men? The first thing that popped into my head when I saw the shirt was not an upstanding, law abiding man, but a man being chased by police for robbing someone/something.
Maybe it’s just that the second part of the phrase is “from the police” so that was the final thought in my mind, but I don’t think so. I think ...
