This afternoon Anastasia and I got a break from the kids for the first time in a long time. Their father and his girlfriend came to town and took the kids out to lunch and dinner and his girlfriend treated to a shopping spree. (I only hope his girlfriend has better taste than he does.) This is the first break we have had, other when the kids freakishly made plans with friends at the same time.
