Friends of LGBT History Month, Mz Fontaine and Dean Atta, were showered with honours at the Black LGBT Community Awards ceremony held on the Thames on Saturday 20th. Dean Atta, who performed his powerful and moving poems at this year's Schools OUT Conference in February, won the Arts award, whilst Mz Fontaine, who has entertained us at the Conference for two years with her hip-hop perfromance, was declared woman of the year.
