I have to give a final congratulations to the Great British Olympic Team who are on their way home with a staggering 19 Gold, 13 Silver and 15 Bronze medals. It's been a thrill to spectate in the Beijing Olympics.So the double decker bus has transformed and now the stage is set for the games to come here in 2012 - no doubt this will dominate the news and press coverage for the next 4 years. Yesterday we spent the day in Windsor as we had booked to take a look at Frogmore House. It is a home on the Windsor Estate which is still used by the Royal Family and was where Queen Victoria grew up.Frogmore is only open to the public two days a year so it's best to book ahead for fear of forgetting!Anyway we spent a drizzly morning on the Frogmore estate but to be honest the grounds are so nice we didn't notice the rain.Frogmore is a couple of miles from Windsor Castle so we had a bit of ...

I cannot let today pass without some comments on Super Saturday (or even the run up to it).Team GB are doing a fantastic job and today especially the golds are piling in.Congratulations to the cycle teams, Bradley Wiggins, Chris Hoy and of course Rebecca Adlington. What stunning performances.A surprise win for us was the men's coxless four who took the gold earlier today - to me they don't look quite so coxless ;0)Of course, the best of luck to all those still competing. If this is the standard for Beijing, I am really looking forward to the games coming here ...
